Purpose & Vision

Purpose: To love Jesus, love His people, love His word, and do His will.

Vision: Build, Disciple, and Send

• BUILD:  to encourage all believers to build a relationship individually and corporately with Jesus.  A relationship that continues to grow and deepen with Christ through worship and prayer (John 17:3).

We believe the praise and worship of Christ should be spiritual, inspirational, and from our hearts (John 4:23-24, Psalm 96:1).

We believe prayer in the will of God is extremely important in our personal lives and as  the Church (1 Thessalonians 5:17, Matthew 18:19-20, 1 John 5:14-15).

• DISCIPLE:  To prepare (equip) believers to serve Christ.

We believe it is the primary responsibility of the Church leadership to teach, preach, and defend God’s Word.  We are to feed the sheep.  Healthy sheep produce more healthy sheep.  We believe in teaching through the Bible verse-by-verse, precept upon precept in order that the Church might grow up into maturity and affect the community and world around us (2 Peter 3:18, 2 Timothy 2:2).

• SEND:  To send the equipped believer to serve Christ and do His will.

We believe that the Church should be involved in the community as a witness for the Lord practicing His truth, to be a light to the world and the salt of the earth.  We believe the Church should reach to the ends of the earth with the glorious good news of Jesus.  We encourage all local churches to send equipped men and women into the community, nation, and world (Romans 10:15, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Philippians 2:13).
