Control

There is a part within, inside,
Somewhere between here and there,
Between flesh and spirit,
Deep inside my soul, far, distant,
A part that swirls in my center,
A bridge across a gorge cut by a river,
There encircled by more than me,
That in this chaos is control,
How complex a creature I am,
Control for the raging storms,
A tower with a light inside,
Extending out its tentacles of light,
A small thin thread, pushed by
The strength provided outside,
Weaving its way through the cloth
That is wrapped and needs this spirit,
Control to balance the ragin
