Someone asked how I would answer this question.

My response is, “Human traditions with no relevance toward Biblical Christianity.”  For a literal definition you can find plenty of resources to research online.

Of course, celebrate and enjoy whatever traditions you may follow, but remember it was Christ who gave up His life for us, and His salvation is complete.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,  not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).
