Fraud in the Scientific Community (Again)

The Telegraph is reporting that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has been committing fraud in regard to climate data to support the case for Global Warming.

Article here.

“Goddard shows how, in recent years, NOAA’s US Historical Climatology Network (USHCN) has been “adjusting” its record by replacing real temperatures with data “fabricated” by computer models. The effect of this has been to downgrade earlier temperatures and to exaggerate those from recent decades, to give the impression that the Earth has been warming up much more than is justified by the actual data. In several posts headed “Data tampering at USHCN/GISS”, Goddard compares the currently published temperature graphs with those based only on temperatures measured at the time. These show that the US has actually been cooling since the Thirties, the hottest decade on record; whereas the latest graph, nearly half of it based on “fabricated” data, shows it to have been warming at a rate equivalent to more than 3 degrees centigrade per century.”

And there are folks telling me we are supposed to trust the scientific community.  Yea… okay.

Wheat and Tares

“Louie Gohmert Confronts Reverend Over His Christian Beliefs During Congressional Hearing”

Article here.

The reverend is Barry Lynn.  I watched a debate a while ago between James White and Barry Lynn over homosexuality.  I really don’t understand why men who don’t hold to the truth of the Bible consider themselves Christian ministers.  When Gohmert is questioning Lynn, he refuses to agree that Jesus is the truth, the way, and the life.  Yet, he is still a Christian minister.

It is baffling, and it brings to mind the parable of the Wheat and the Tares in Matthew 13:24-30.  Wheat and tares look the same as they grow up, but the difference becomes apparent as they mature.  In the last days people will gather false teachers around them to tell them what their itching ears want to hear.

I can’t judge a person’s heart (nor would I want to!) because that is the Lord’s place, and only He knows the hearts of men.  But, we can see people for the false teachers they are from the fruit they produce.  Jesus told us to measure those who claim to be Christian teachers in Matthew 7:15-20.

I absolutely agree with separation of church and human states (because humans are fallen and evil).  When Jesus comes and sets up His kingdom, then the church and state will be one.  I look forward to His reign where all the evils of humanity (including homosexuality) are not accepted.

As a side note, I was thinking about the rebellion that will occur against Christ at the end of His millennial reign in Revelation 20:7-10.  Jesus will rule the earth with an iron rod (Psalm 2:9, Revelation 2:27; 12:5; 19:15), and I speculate the battle cry of the rebellion will be “freedom.”  Being the American rebel (son of the American Revolution) that I am, I find that very interesting!

As a Christian I want freedom from evil human tyranny, but that is completely different from the Sovereign power of our holy and righteous God in Christ Jesus.  I want to live under the wise and beautiful law of our Lord forever.

During the congressional hearing, Lynn says that Christians aren’t having any problems in the US and dismisses the anecdotes that say other wise.  Well, I have first hand knowledge of Christian persecution in this country, while it may not be governmental in source it is still persecution none-the-less.

Intolerance of Dissenting Views (Scientific Corruption)

The scientific community is just as biased and fragmented as any other group of human beings.  There are scientists on both sides of any given issue, and those in power use their positions to discriminate, silence, and persecute the opposing side.

I point this out because of the arrogance and hubris of people in science who attack everyone else and claim to be somehow immune to human corruption.  The truth is they are humans with all of the same flaws and problems as everyone else.  Just because they say their interpretation of the data is “right” doesn’t mean they are correct or even telling the truth.

One thing my scientific training has taught me is to question everything and everyone.  I don’t trust the scientific community because they are often wrong, are polluted with corruption and arrogance, and the majority aggressively attacks anyone with a different view point using the most repugnant means available.  The modern scientific community is as bad as the Roman Catholic Church at the height of its corrupt power or any other community of human beings.

Here we have another example:

“Study suggesting global warming is exaggerated was rejected for publication in respected journal because it was ‘less than helpful’ to the climate cause, claims professor

  • Professor Lennart Bengtsson claims his study on global warming has been rejected as it might fuel climate scepticism
  • Says he suspects an intolerance of dissenting views on climate science
  • Paper suggests that climate is less sensitive to greenhouse gases than previously thought”

Article here.

Here is an excellent article on corruption of science in America by J. Marvin Herdon, Ph.D.

“For the good of all, now is the time to rid science of the charlatans
and the science-barbarians, and to create an environment
where science can flourish in truth and where scientists can work
freely without fear of retribution or denouncement for challenging
extant ideas or for failing to adopt the ‘politically correct’
consensus-approved storyline.” – Dr. Herdon

Young Earth Creationists & Pat Robertson

Pat Robertson made news this week by saying that anyone who believes in a young Earth (6,000 years old) are deaf, blind, and dumb. I believe Pat Robertson is wrong in attacking Christians who believe that by calling them names.  It makes me sad.

I believe in six days of Creation. But, we don’t know how much time passed from the time God created the heavens and earth and He appeared to begin the six days.

I don‘t believe anything existed on Earth prior to God creating during those six days because it was empty and void, but the planet and water were here.

Nor do we know how long Adam and Eve existed in the Garden of Eden before they sinned.

I personally think Adam and Eve sinned and were cast out of the Garden approximately 6000 years ago, but we don’t know how much time passed total before that.
