“Sept. 11 is a date with bad memories for Americans.
But, according to a growing body of evidence assembled in a new book about biblical sabbatical years, it’s also the real date Jesus was born, in the year 3 B.C.
Joseph Dumond, author of “Remembering the Sabbatical Years of 2016, 2023, 2030, 2037, 2044,” makes the case for the birth date based on astronomical charts, clues provided in the Book of Revelation and the fact that the date on the Hebrew calendar translated into the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot – a holy day often associated with Jesus’ birth and return in the Second Coming.”
We Christians get a lot of hostility thrown at us whenever we attempt to share the good news about Jesus with some who have never heard it, some people in other religions, or some people who have chosen to not believe. From the perspective of a Christian, one who has shared my faith with family, friends, co-workers, and people in the community in various ways (anyone who will listen), I have really tried to understand this backlash.
There have been a number of reasons over the last twenty centuries that people were hostile, and there have been various forms of persecution including torture and death. Though this article is not about persecution, it is about the activity of evangelism.
For Christians, evangelism means to simply share the good news about Jesus.
So why should we Christians even bother sharing the good news of Jesus with a world that responds with hostility? We have our reasons.
“‘The Bible should be our standard for prophecy and interpretation of prophetic events,’ said Joseph Farah, editor and founder of WND, upon learning of Judah Ben Samuel’s predictions in Israel Today. ‘But one cannot ignore what this 12th-century rabbi said and wrote. It’s well-documented. And I applaud Israel Today for bringing it to light. The implications of these predictions is staggering to say the least.’”
Jesus saves people from every nation, tribe, tongue, and language. It does not matter if they are in countries where Christianity is outlawed or not. That includes saving Muslims by calling them to Himself through visions and dreams.

Jesus said, “This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day” (John 6:39).
I have a friend that was a Buddhist. She is now a Christian. Jesus appeared to her in a dream and told her to believe.
To all my brothers and sisters in Christ, let’s pray for our Christian family in Egypt and all of those who are persecuted for the name of Jesus in this dark world.
“And they cried with a loud voice, saying, ‘How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?’” (Revelation 6:10)
My Lord, my King… my Jesus, holy… magnificient and glorified… My heart burns for you. I lift up and declare your name before everything that has breath. My heart yearns for your righteousness, your beauty, your perfect will… I sing your praises, you are my everything. You have known me from my mother’s womb. You formed me to love you, gave me eyes to see, ears to hear, to lift my voice and declare your truth, hands to do your work, and feet to follow you wherever you may lead me. Fill me with your Spirit as you fill the vastness of your creation, let your light’s fire restrain and burn away the curse of this flesh, saturate every cell with your fragrant presence like the purest, golden oil of your annointed. Oh Lord, hear my cry, hear the heart that beats by your sustaining power, remember your people and forgive us for all our failures. Fill me with the depths of your love and wisdom. Let this spirit be wrapped in your unbreakable strength and power. Glory to the God of all the Earth, glory to the Lamb, glory to the Lion of Almighty God, the One slain before the earth’s foundations were prepared, who in Your great, grace filled love died to redeem His people for all eternity. For He has been given all authority and all crowns rest at His feet. The heavens and earth shake at the power of His name. The sun will be struck, the moon will be red as blood. Fire and smoke will fill the air. They will cry out for the mountains to fall upon them to hide them from His face. They will look to flee, but there will be no place for them. He will tread the winepess of your wrath, and put an end to darkness with the glorious light of His revelation.
Jesus said, ““I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die” (John 11:25-26).
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
