Pre-Tribulation Rapture (Tradition and Apocrypha)

Here are a couple of interesting texts concerning the rapture of the Church occuring before the Tribulation.

“Behold, the days shall come, that they which dwell upon earth shall be taken in a great number, and the way of truth shall be hidden, and the land shall be barren of faith.” Ezra, ~400 B.C.

“For all the saints and the elect of God are gathered prior to the Tribulation that is to come, and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world because of our sin.” – Ephraim the Syrian 373 A.D.

These two texts prove the theory of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture was understood and taught from ancient times.

Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri: The Messiah is Yeshua (Jesus)

I remember when Rabbi Kaduri passed away and that he had left a note that was sealed and to be opened a year later.  I never found out the result.  Of course it is controversial, and Kaduri made some comments about the Messiah that make me question if he was referring to the Yeshua (Jesus of Nazareth) I know.

This has come back up in the news because of Ariel Sharon.  It has been reported (1/3/13) that Ariel Sharon is in criticial condition.  Article here.  Rabbi Kaduri said that the Messiah would come soon after Ariel Sharon’s death.

I remember standing in my 11th grade astronomy class looking at a world map and tracing the single, massive continuous rift that stretches around the world.  I thought that it looked like the Earth’s crust cracked at some point, and as the rifts are all connected it makes sense that it happened all at the same time.

Archaeology: Oldest Inscription (so far) Translated

“Historians believe they have decoded the oldest inscription ever found in Jerusalem, made up of just eight letters carved on the remains of a large clay jar.

The message is believed to have been written some 3,000 years ago during King Solomon’s reign and is believed to be 250 years older than any other engraving ever found in the area.

The inscription was discovered in July during archaeological excavations south of the Temple Mount in an area called Ophel, but the meaning of the message had stumped researchers to now. The dig was directed by Dr. Eilat Mazar of the Hebrew University’s Institute of Archaeology”

Archaeology: Rare Roman-Era Dyed Fabrics

I have high hopes for 2014, and I thought we could start the new year off right.  Archaeology continues to prove the Bible’s text is accurate, historical, and true.  Here is a rare, new find that was annouced by Israeli archaeologists.

“Israeli archaeologists have uncovered three rare, Roman-era fabrics believed to have been dyed using murex snail extracts in unique colors mentioned in the Bible.

Israel Antiquities Authority researchers say they have identified three pieces of cloth dyed in colors considered the most valued at the time, including special shades of blue, purple and crimson-scarlet — colors cited in scripture. The textiles are believed to have been used in the clothing of wealthy residents 2,000 years ago.”

God & Aliens

I am a witness of a “UFO” as I’ve written before.  Article here.  It was completely unexpected, in the middle of a huge city, and I was within 100 yards of the ship.  Doing some rough estimates that you can see in the article I wrote, the ship was roughly 60-80 yards in diameter (180-240 feet).  Yes, it was massive.

I’m not a “believer” in UFOs.  I saw one, so for me they are absolutely real.  They are a fact that has shaped my perspective of life for 22 years.  I have no doubts or questions.

So the question comes up.  If aliens are real, what about God, Jesus, and the Bible?

The answer is simple.  Aliens have ZERO impact on God, Jesus, or the Bible.

Despite what humans have believed over the centuries, the Bible has told us many things people did not believe at one time or another.  It has told us the truth before we proved it through scientific processes.  Some examples:
